Nulu Senior Portrait Session Louisville KY
LILY
Spending the day with Lily Moats is like spending the day with a long lost friend. She immediately welcomes you in with her radiant smile. Her energy was contagious and when we first started she was an absolute dream to work with.
We chatted throughout the Nulu neighborhood about her likes and dislikes, her dreams, and her hopes for the future.
I found out that Lily’s favorite foods are margarita pizza, mac n cheese, and fried chicken. She has the cutest little puppy ever named Scout and he’s her favorite part of every day. Her favorite shows are Jane the Virgin, How I Met Your Mother, and Gossip Girl. She loves hanging out with my friends, trying new foods and her favorite pastime of them all is definitely shopping. Check out all of the amazing accessories she chose for her shoot.
Here’s a little about Lily in her own words:
I grew up here in Louisville after moving from Minnesota but my whole family is from Iowa, so instead of cheering on the UK Cats or UL Cardinals, we cheered on the Minnesota Hawkeyes instead.
I’d like to think I’m a positive person and I love to pass that on to others. I think the smallest acts of kindness really can change someone’s day for the better. I love helping people especially if it includes hanging out with kids. I think that comes from a little bit of growing up going to church, like going on mission trips and doing volunteer days.
A big part of my life is lacrosse and it has shaped me into who I am today. I grew up playing soccer, running cross country/ track, and doing gymnastics and thought I was going to play those sports forever but then in 5th grade, my best friend at the time asked me to try lacrosse with her and I’ve been hooked ever since. I’m even writing my college essay about how lacrosse has changed and influenced me and how it’s made me a better person.
I have the opportunity to play lacrosse in college and I’m so excited!! I haven’t decided where I’m going to commit yet, but I’ve decided to study either business marketing or sports medicine. I can’t wait to play the game I love on a whole other level and experience a whole new state with new friends and new opportunities.
Ever since freshman year I was so excited to get senior pictures, when I heard that Christora had openings for the summer I was so excited!
Some of my favorite photos we took have to be all the off guard ones, but my favorite one was the last one we took of me jumping. It was just a really fun way to end the session. I was worried my pictures wouldn’t look like me but I’m absolutely obsessed with all of them!!
I’m so glad we got to spend the day shuffling through Nulu with this gorgeous girl. Doesn’t she just shine in every location?
