Blackacre Conservancy Senior Session Louisville KY

LINDSEY

Where do you take a senior whose favorite place to be is outside in nature?  Blackacre Conservancy of course!  A respite from all of the craziness of Louisville, the conservancy is like a little slice of country in the city.

For Lindsey, it spoke to her soul.  When she saw the horses and goats, she lit up.  “I didn’t know this was a real farm,” she said to be incredulous, her smile growing on her face.  All I could do was giggle.

It’s my job to find the best place that will fit YOU.  I spend the time talking to each and every senior in order to make the best decision location wise.  For Lindsey that meant finding somewhere, outside of Lake Cumberland, that spoke to her.

As we walked through the conservancy’s barns and buildings, Lindsey’s comfort level grew, her laughter radiating off the wooden trellises. Her favorite moment was when the barn kittens came running up and she was able to scoop one up for some candid photos.  You can just see her eyes shining with glee in those photos.

So, what makes Lindsey, well Lindsey?  I’ll let her tell you:

“I’ve grown up in my church (Middletown Christian) since before I was 1 year old. I’ve met most of my best friends there and my boyfriend and it has always felt like home to me. I’ve gotten a lot of opportunities through church and it’s definitely helped shaped who I am. I’m passionate about helping others whenever I can and I hope I can continue to do that through the job I will have.

I want to go to the University of Kentucky for college, but I’m still weighing a few options. I also have still not decided what exactly I want to major in, but I know I want to study science like biology or genetics, I love science and it’s always been very interesting to me! I don’t want to rush but I definitely want to be involved in my school and I want to go to lots of games and events.

I’ve never had my pictures professionally done, so I was really excited for a chance to do that and to celebrate a little of the year that should have been.  Senior photos are a right that every student should take advantage of.  When else, besides your wedding do you get to celebrate like this?

I’ve been playing guitar for a few years now and I played the flute before that, I love shopping, my favorite season is summer, and the lake is my favorite place to be.”

I loved spending time with this spitfire of a girl and cannot wait to see what path she chooses.  No matter what, she’ll be successful because that’s just who this young lady is.

Thank you Lindsey for choosing Green Apple Seniors to take your senior portraits.
